DESIGN WEBINAR FOR BEGINNERS

FABRICS 1.0 using Houdini

This webinar was live recorded on the 30th and 31st of May 2020

Introduction :

The webinar will cover all key aspects of how I use Houdini for the type of work that I do and teach at university. The aim is to give you my personal view and feeling on a software that we use as a powerful and flexible design tool.

This course is for beginners, we will start from scratch and we will gradually increase complexity. The idea is to go through as many KEY topics as possible so you can have a good overall understanding of how Houdini works. For those of you who would like to have a deeper insight on certain topics, Softbiome will be offering more webinars and pre-recorded courses in the near future tailored to specific design themes and projects.

Softbiome's vision is to create an educational online environment where DESIGN is the driving force. This particular course though is an introduction to a complex piece of software so some technical explanations are necessary. Nevertheless, in order to keep the course exciting I will be producing small design experiments throughout the course.

We are just launching the platform and more content is coming, If you decide to join me in this occasion you will be very much welcome to the community!
